A1. Hong Kong Career Interest Test Program
Our school utilizes the Hong Kong Career Interest Test online platform to help students gain a deeper understanding of themselves. This assessment enhances their awareness of how their interests align with various professions, aiding in their educational and career decisions. The career interest assessment tool is developed based on John Holland's career interest theory and has been validated through academic research. It consists of over 200 questions, providing an effective and accurate evaluation of participants' career inclinations. This foundational information aids in exploring further education and career paths. Participants must complete the entire test in one session, and upon completion, each participant receives an individual assessment report analyzing their career interest results.

Target Audience:: Students in Form 3, Form 5, and Form 6
Format/Content: Students will complete the assessment during holistic education classes, followed by group or individual counseling sessions for further support.

 

A2. LIFE+ Career Development Platform
Purpose:To provide students with a professional career development assessment platform, enabling them to understand their personal development direction and explore future educational and employment options.
Target Audience:Form 3 students
Format/Content:Students will complete the assessment during holistic education classes, with follow-up group or individual counseling sessions for further guidance.

 

A3. Career Planning for Form 5 and Form 6 Repeat Students

Purpose:To provide follow-up and analysis by teachers, helping Form 5 and Form 6 repeat students identify a clear direction in life and plan for future education and employment.
Target Audience:Students withdrawing from elective subjects in Form 5 and Form 6
Format/Content:Classes, workshops, and off-campus visits.

 

A4. Group and Individual Counseling Activities
Purpose:To provide more personalized counseling for students, allowing them to understand their abilities and interests through online career interest assessments like Life+ and CII. This helps them make informed choices about their life goals and aspirations.
Target Audience:Form 5 and Form 6 students
Format:Individual and group counseling sessions.

 

B. Self-Discovery Category

B1. Form 1 "My Assets" Workshop
Purpose:To help students understand their personal soft assets: Attitude, Skill, Knowledge.
Target Audience:Form 1 students
Format/Content:Classes, workshops, and activities.

 

B2. "MY PATH" Goal Setting Workshop
Purpose:To stimulate students' pursuit of their dreams through interactive games, helping them set specific goals and plans for themselves.
Target Audience:Form 2 students
Format/Content:Invite organizations that offer educational counseling to conduct in-class workshops. Activities will include understanding personal traits, exploring dreams, and setting important goals.

 

B3. My Time Capsule
Purpose:To help students clarify their interests and abilities, enabling them to make informed choices for subject selection in Form 3.
Target Audience:Form 3 students
Format/Content:Workshops led by professional social workers, allowing students to explore their personal dreams and integrate aspects such as interests, abilities, attitudes, and values to prepare for subject selection.

 

B4. Social Initial Experience: Dream Building Project
Purpose:Using the Holland Code as a framework, this project aims to help students explore their aspirations, interests, and life direction. Through various life experiences, students will understand their career orientations, values in career development, work styles, and leisure activities. This reflection will guide them in establishing concrete life directions and goals.
Target Audience:Form 4 students
Format/Content:Teachers from the school's counseling and guidance team will first understand the project's concepts and activities. The activities will be conducted in groups within each class. Before the activities begin, students will set personal expectations and goals. After the completion of the activities, teachers will facilitate sharing and discussions with students, encouraging them to apply their insights in daily life and learning.

 

B5. Simulated Social Experience Activity (Soci-game)
Purpose:To allow students to experience different stages of life (such as education, work, and marriage) and reflect on their desired lifestyles and the importance of life planning.
Target Audience:Form 5 students
Format/Content:Teachers will design various booths for students to participate in at the covered playground. Before the activity, students will set personal expectations and use limited resources to achieve their goals. During the activity, students can choose different options (such as studying, working, investing, marrying, and entertainment), but individual students may face challenges (such as illness or accidents) that affect their progress. This experience aims to teach students about the unpredictability of life and the value of cherishing the present. Finally, staff will facilitate sharing and discussions, encouraging students to reflect on what they gained from their simulated life experiences.

 

C. Career and Course Exploration

C1. Visits to Tertiary Institution Consultation Days / Online Course Consultation Activities
Purpose:To allow students to visit universities and establish clear goals and directions for their subject selections.
Target Audience:Form 5 and Form 6 students
Format/Content:Students will experience university life firsthand, allowing them to interact with teaching facilities from various departments and access the latest information about courses.

 

C2. Work Experience Activities, Business-School Collaboration, and Chamber of Commerce Work Experience
Purpose:To help students understand the external workplace and its requirements.
Target Audience:Form 6 students
Format/Content:Through partnerships with business organizations, the Education Bureau's collaboration programs, and vocational training colleges, students will participate in visits, lectures, and workshops. This initiative allows them to learn about the demands of various industries, engage directly with employees, and gain insights into their work experiences. Ultimately, this helps students understand market developments and begin planning their career pathways.

 

C3. Entrepreneurial Workshop
Purpose:To help students understand the spirit of entrepreneurship.
Target Audience:Form 4 and Form 5 students
Format/Content:The school will invite the Jockey Club's Youth Entrepreneurship Training Program to provide entrepreneurship training for Form 4 and Form 5 students. This program aims to cultivate their entrepreneurial mindset, with student leaders applying their skills through practical experiences at the school's entrepreneurship skills practice sessions.

 

C4. Form 3 Subject Selection: "Senior Student Sharing Session"
Purpose:To help Form 3 students gain insights into the entry requirements for different elective subjects in high school through sharing from senior students, ensuring they have a clear understanding before making their choices.

Format/Content:Students from Form 4 and Form 5 will share their experiences regarding elective subjects during holistic education classes. They will discuss their learning experiences and provide guidance on how to select subjects that best fit individual interests and abilities.

 

C5. Living Library Career Sharing Session
Purpose:To facilitate communication and sharing between students and professionals from various fields.

Format/Content:Guests from different industries will visit the school to engage with students in small groups. They will share insights about their professions, workplace experiences, and the skills needed in the job market, helping students gain a better understanding of the working world.


C6. Diverse Pathways to Further Education Seminar (Including Parent and APL Seminars)
Purpose:To inform students, parents, and teachers about future educational pathways and provide the latest information on these options.。

D3. VIDEO CV Workshop

D4. Occupational Safety and Summer Job Guidelines
