In memory of Dr. Li Yuet-ting

To all parents and friends from various sectors,

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Dr. Li Yuet-ting, the former Driector of Education, who served as a Board Member of Man Kwan Education Organisation and Chairman of Man Kwan Education Fund, on the afternoon of September 17, 2024, due to illness.

Dr. Li has served us since the establishment of the fund in 2000, making significant contributions to both the Organisation and the Fund. He has been deeply concerned about school affairs and has successfully led the development of the school alongside other board members. He particularly paid close attention to the growth of gifted students and facilitated collaboration between the Fund and the “Fung Hon Chu Education Fund” for organizing the “Excellence Today, Achievements Tomorrow” Youth Award Program for 11 years, which has greatly benefited numerous gifted student leaders in Hong Kong.

Dr. Li dedicated his life to education, promoting various educational reforms during his tenure as the Director of Education. Even after his retirement, he remained devoted to students, serving voluntarily in our Organisation and the Fund, and held various positions contributing to our society. He was truly a role model for all educators.

Our school will continue to uphold Dr. Li’s passion for education, providing quality education to the community and all students in line with our Organisation’s philosophy of "All are Educable All can Succeed”.
