Hong Kong Student Science Project Competition

Our Students 4B Sun Wai Yip, Chan Ka Ho, Leung Sze Man, Yeung Ka Wing and Chu Kai Ho participated in the Hong Kong Student Science Project Competition, which is organized by the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups. Students won the First Prize and the Visitors’ Favourite Award in the Design Proposal (Biology & Chemistry) category in Senior division with the project “Turning bone into plastic”.

The research project aims to produce a biodegradable plastic by using gelatin extracted from chicken bones, which can help to resolve plastic pollution and food waste problem.
